I always loved the game battleships. Sticking pegs into a board and sinking the enemy. When i saw the PC version i went back twenty four years and pulled out the funds to revisit my childhood. How disappointed I was. Do not get me wrong. I think that the programmers have done a good job in designing the game, but it is one which does not translate well. The layout of the game is well done, the music is fine and the controls are easy to master (no twenty keys needed to carry out a simple task). The big problem is the lack of guidance on how to sink the enemy. I spent 40 minutes firing at a ship and this was in practice mode. I never sank it. I ...
