My 4 year old daughter has to play on this CD nearly every day. I purchased it a couple of years ago, and though she was interested in the Tweenies, she wasn’t terribly struck on playing this game. However, she is now getting much more IT proficient and is quite good with using the mouse, and can actually play this game quite independently. There is also a spin-off CD available from all good retailers, which features a dance mat and microphone, but as with all sequels, this doesn’t quite match up to the original. Upon installing and starting the game, the Tweenies theme music and introductory sequence plays (like on the television programme) , then ... Read the complete review

Yes, now you can play with Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake on your computer - and so can your kids! This is a great fun CD-Rom for the littlies, around 3 to 6 year olds. I read somewhere that the name "Tweenies" is from "in-beTWEEN", aimed at those kids who are too old for Teletubbies and suchlike, but too young for a lot of the other shows. I think it does it's job well. The CD-Rom features the Tweenie clock which the children will already be familiar with from TV. It has Messy Time, Story Time, Song Time, Telly Time, News Time and Play Time. There is also a Mail section with Doodles (their enormous but friendly dog), where you ... Read the complete review

I found this Tweenies CD-ROM in PC World just before Christmas, and bought it as a present for my 4 year old son. It is recommended for age 3 and over, but my two and a half year old daughter can also manage some of the easier activities. The first time your child logs in he has to type his name in and choose a badge to go by his name. My son chose a boat and my daughter wanted a flower, but there are lots of other cheerful designs to choose from. Next you go to the main menu where all the activities are accessed by clicking on the Tweenie clock. There are five buttons on the clock which represent an activity; Messy Time, Telly Time, Story Time, Song ... Read the complete review

My son was 3 years of age when I bought his first CD-ROM game. I shopped around to see what would be suitable for his age. I knew he loved the Tweenies so I bought “Ready to Play”. The design of the game is based around the television programmes. There are 6 categories to choose from: - messy time, telly time, story time, play time, news time and song time. Once you have decided which area you wish to go to you press the Tweenie Clock. Story Time:- Max reads a story called “Felicity and her felt tip pens” the story is read out from a book which you press the button when you would like the page to turnover. Telly ... BBC Multimedia have come up with another great interactive cd rom that children will love. Our youngest two, aged 3&6, have got much enjoyment from this cd. It is well produced and gives real educational value to their playing. The cd has a number of play activity areas which are easily accessed from the menu :- Messy time. This is a collection of three print and play activities. Paint, finger puppets and masks. Designs can be endlessly changed before being printed off. Telly time. Here is a selection of Tweenies video clips with a simple video interface. Story time. A video book with words and pictures. Words light up as ... Read the complete review
