Advantages: simple, makes you think, pretty and ideal for girls

Bejeweled has always been a fun game for me since it came out, however, Bejeweled2 is definitely the improved version!

This is a computer game that's mainly targeted to girls I'd say. I know many girls don't really play computer or consol games (me and my female friends rarely do) and it's always been more of a boys thing... However, that's changed a bit now with this awesome puzzle game!

Bejeweled is a puzzle game that involves moving gems around to form rows, which will give you points. The game is also timed, though there is a setting where you can play endlessly without timing, but where's the excitement in that!

The purpose of the game is to create rows of 3, 4 or 5 of the same gems, which will give you points. 3 rows just give you points; 4 gives you a power gem, which causes gems around it to explode and 5 gems in a row creates a hyper cube. The hyper cube is quite handy as you can choose which gem that's situated around it you can eliminate and this will cause all the gems of the same colour to be destroyed.

Now, if you play strategically, you can take advantage of all these power gems and hyper cubes to get rid of as many gems as possible, resulting in more points. You also get more points if you move your gems in such a way, that other rows fall into place and you can clear more gems in one move this way.

I really like this game and it's been my favourite puzzle computer game since tetris. It makes you think and that's what I like about it! I recommend this game to anyone, as it's simple, fun and gets you to think and plan ahead.

Summary: great way to pass the time and train your brain at the same time
