Advantages: Original, Amazing real people, Graphics
Disadvantages: Tricky control system, Gameplay feels samey after a while, Replay appeal???
Hi, There is a ton of information about this game around. The reviews here and the material on the web give a fairly clear picture of what the game is all about. i would say thought that you have to play it and for quite some time to really understand its appeal. I would recommend this game to anyone who.... 1 Loves to tinker and experiment. 2 Loves the thought of interacting with "real" characters. The inhabitants of this world do feel real and it doesnt wear off after a few hours. 3 Wants a different game. 4 Has a fast machine 5 Enjoyed, creatures, Sims, etc I wouldnt recommend it to the empire building crowd such as Civilization cause although theres some of that here there is not really much resources management. It becomes a bit of a chore sorting out the food and wood if you ask me. I would also say that I suspect the game might not have the greatest of replay values. Ive not tried the web version. I think this may create a little genre all of its own. Although I thought this about Dungeon Keeper and that never really took off. I would recommed this to anyone with a spare £30 who likes gaming and wants something a bit different. The first few hours just realising how much thought has gone into the game are the most engaging. The actual game play itself is fine but not brilliant.
