Advantages: good multiplayer mode

Disadvantages: doesn't play like previous versions

I am myself, a dedicated gamer. Participating in clan wars and leagues is fantastic. I can honestly say that when COD4 was released it became my favourite all time shoot em up.

COD: World At War was released in the US before the UK which seems to happen a lot and really frustrated me as I was looking forward to a much improved version of COD4.

If I had known that there wasn't really anything to get your pants in a knot about I wouldn't have been so enthusiastic.

Upon purchasing COD4 I realised that playability and excitement had been reduced instead of improved. Things just didn't work the same as before, a fatal flaw in any shoot em up series.

I bought the game only for the multiplayer mode which I have to say, is still a good experience. There are some improvements such as new tanks and a greater level of accuracy is needed from players.

The game demands more from your computer system and you really should read the specs for the game before you decide to purchase it. There is nothing more annoying than purchasing a game that just won't run on your computer.

If you want my advice, stick to COD4.
