Advantages: Fun to play solo, and also a great multiplayer element.

Disadvantages: Single player mode is quite short

Call of Duty: World at War, is a very good game.
The single player mode is fun and can be challenging to play thorugh.
If you like first person shoot em ups, then this is definatly a game to play. The single player mode is fairly short, I managed to compleate it in a few days. however the game offers the online challenge of playing against people from around the world and fighting in a series of different arenas, like classic deathmatch or caputre the flag. Through playing online you get points awarded for kills, which unlock more weapons and you gain more rank as you do this. This is fun, however there are always the people who spend there entire lives playing on this, so are extreamly good at the game, but it is still fun.
The single player game also has a bonus level after compleation, where you are in a house that is being attacked by zombie nazis and you have to defend yourself for as long as you can, which is fairly fun to do, i mean who doesn't like killing zombie nazis?
The single player game is fun but short, however the online element makes this game something that you will play again and again.

Summary: A great game that you'll play again and again
