After loving call of duty 4 modern warfare for ds I decided to buy the newer release, Call of duty world at war. This time however you are not fighting in he modern day but fighting in world war 2. Call of duty 4 was one of my favourite games for ds so I was really looking forward to playing this newer release. I didn't think that it would be better then modern warfare but it really was.

The missions in this game feel similar to the earlier game but there are more cooler features and longer missions which makes this game a much better complete package. One problem had with the previous game was the short missions and short game play, this time the single player game is longer. In single player mode there are some cool extra features during game play which make it fell and play better and makes the game more fun. Features like mine defusing, binoculars through which you able to call in air strikes, missions where you have to use a anti air gun to shoot down Japanese planes and many more all add up to make really enjoyable game play. My favourite extra is the use of a flamethrower. This is really fun and the graphics are very good even though you are using a ds. Ds are known not to have the best graphics but this game has really good graphics like modern warfare.

Overall

Really enjoyable game with some great features that make it a much more enjoyable game then the previous release. The graphics are excellent for the platform.
