Call of Juarez (PC) ... Juarez is a First Person Shooter for PC, inspired from the greatest movies of the Western genre. It is the first 'serious' and the most realistic adaptation of the genre. Developed by Techland Studio, the game draws on the major themes of the American Wild West through confrontation between the two principal emblematic characters.

Call of Juarez promises so much yet delivers so very little. The concept of it interested me greatly but the game itself was disappointing. You play as two characters, one at a time - Reverend Ray and Billy. Reverend Ray has a dark past and when his brother is killed his dark side comes out once again. Billy is a nobody who has spent his time looking for the treasure of Juarez only to return home empty handed. He gets caught up in a battle at the beginning and soon finds himself being blamed for the deaths of a few villagers. There is nothing in the game which endears the player to either character making you less interested in the story. The game ...  Read the complete review

Call of Juarez is an awesome game. It's a wild west first person shooter, yet it isn't a conventional fps where you kill everything. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the system requirements compared to the actual game. Usually when you see low recommended specs, you expect the game to be very simple and bland... Though this is not the case with Call of Juarez. The depth of field is very clever in this game, if you look at something in the distance, then ...  Read the complete review
