What a great game (Carmaggedon 2 (PC))

This game is class. Not only is this game fantastic to play but it is now even cheaper at under £20. The graphics are fantastic and the playability is second to none. The game is practically bug free and with patches can be one of the most fun driving games ever. The only thing I would like is an add on pack so I can play this game forever.

Carmageddon 2 has loads of cars to choose from, all with hilarious names. The levels are also great with inticately designed backgrounds and tracks. The zombie killing is also great fun with a wide range of people and animals to mow down in your slaughtermobile.

It has three levels of difficulty ranging from "as easy as stamping on kittens" to "as hard as fisting a velociraptor" to ensure anyone can play. Although this game isn't really suitable for younger children the gore levels can be sensored so that the little kiddies don't have too many nightmares.

I find this game is best played on a gamepad because using the keypad makes the steering and acceleration too jerky. The game does run on some lower end machines (about a P200) and doesn't really need 3Dfx but on a decent machine with good graphic capabilities it play like a beauty.
Withdownloadable skins and a blood patch for the zombies this is a game it will take a long time to get sick of.

The main problem with the game is the lack of internet play: you can only play multiplayer over an LAN. However if you don't like spending much on your phone bill this is perfect.
