Have you ever played Destruction Derby? Liked it? Have you ever Played GTA? Liked it? Put them together and you get "CARMAGEDDON". This game rocks. YOU RACE, like in Destruction Derby, crashing your cars and smashing them to pieces, I literally mean pieces not just dents!! YOU DRIVE recklessly into Zombies (or humans depending on what version you get) just like GTA. The game can be played how you like!! You can play the game like a civilised person and race the tracks. OR play it the CARMAGEDDON WAY!! Drive into objects (lights, parked cars) flipping your car, drive into Zombies, crash into cars and kill them (thats how you get new cars), ... Carmageddon, its more than your average game. Its the local pedestrian death trap as you murder (by running them over or collecting things that allow you to spring, electricute, explode them to death) (you can even make them suicidal, so they all run towards the car) away at all moving pedestrians if they have not already been killed by the opposing cars and lorries. Collecting power tools that help you spring back into action keeping their time and credits high by bashing cars, blowing them up, killing pedestrians and getting cunning stunt bonus'. If you are an owner of the carmageddon carpocalypse now demo then this may come in useful, if not ... Read the complete review

Carmageddon is more than just your average driving game. Pedestrians are the main target of the day as you drive towards and through them at speeds of over 100 mph. Not even farmyard animals are safe as you slam on your handbrake and spin into a cow-mincing frenzy. Blood, guts and udders fly past your car as you wheel spin through their remains. Sounds fun doesn't it? If you're a driver with a pathological hate for pedestrians then we've found the game for you. This is violent gaming at its meatiest. Points for running over people? Some may not like it but, remember, it's just a game. This game is fun. You can win by either running down all the ... Read the complete review

This may be an old game, and many will think it must be out of date because it requires no 3D accelerator card, but Carmageddon still rules the universe when it comes to PC Driving Games. I've just finished a mammoth stint of fender-bending carnage and I loved every second. I've had this game for years and still don't get tired of driving round at high speeds smashing innocent bystanders into pulp! And who would? Carmageddon is a PC game that revolved around racing. This is no ordinary racing - the easiest way to win is to smash into your opponent's cars so much that they are wasted and can't continue. On your way round the ... Read the complete review
