Advantages: Fast, Fun, Gore, Realism and very addictive!!

Disadvantages: If you faint at the sight if blood then dont buy it!!

Have you ever played Destruction Derby? Liked it? Have you ever Played GTA? Liked it? Put them together and you get "CARMAGEDDON". This game rocks.

YOU RACE, like in Destruction Derby, crashing your cars and smashing them to pieces, I literally mean pieces not just dents!!
YOU DRIVE recklessly into Zombies (or humans depending on what version you get) just like GTA.

The game can be played how you like!! You can play the game like a civilised person and race the tracks. OR play it the CARMAGEDDON WAY!! Drive into objects (lights, parked cars) flipping your car, drive into Zombies, crash into cars and kill them (thats how you get new cars), try and jump the highest on ramps. The race track is "point"less!!
You get time and credits for driving into cars and zombies. The harder and faster you hit 'em the more you get. Also when you have exploded every car you complete the level, so you dont have to race the track! There are about 20-30 different vehicles to choose from. When your car is damaged you have to repair it with credits, this happens during gameplay. During the game there are some annoying police cars which you run from or attack. The more credits you get at the end of the level the more power, strength and armor you can buy. The game is fast and fun.

The game is set in the future. The levels are realistic with objects that can be driven into and moved (such as street lights and parked cars).
The game has been a success with "Carmageddon Splat Pack" an addon to Carmageddon (more levels more gore and more cars such as the cool mini to trash), Carmageddon 2, Much better graphics but similar addictable gameplay. And just out recently "Carmageddon TDR 2000". Its meant to be a scorcher!! So get your hands on the original now!!

I hope you get this game, it is in the budget section and should only cost you a fiver (£5)
