Advantages: Its amazing, so many leagues and players

Disadvantages: board can be a pain in the ass, ive lost the past few years of my life

This is without a doubt one of the greatest games of the best games of all time; it's certainly the best football manager game!

I first played CM2 when I got a loan of it from a friend; I still have it years later! I then got CM3 when it came out and then I got this, the best instalment so far. With 24 leagues to pick from you really are spoiled for choice and its certainly not anywhere near as easy as CM2 but it does take longer to play which is a good and bad thing, a nice touch is the addictiveness rating. The Scottish league is pretty easy to play but the Spanish and Italian leagues are very hard indeed but are a good challenge.

There are also very nice features such as complaining about a ref, asking FA to re-arrange a match, ask the board for more transfer funds, expanding the stadium and investing in youth development.

You can customise your training, obviously your tactics, tackling, passing, counter attack etc.

The database of players is huge and also there are many teams that don't play in any league that there’s available.

The web site is very good and offers many updates and you can update all the leagues and players which means that you don't have to buy the new games as soon as they come out which means that its very good value for money.

On the whole it’s a vast improvement over the previous games and you can even play it over the net, which I’ve not tried yet but it could be fun but surely pretty slow. The multiplayer on this is good but it has a disadvantage that it can take days just to play a season. A lot more detail than before, a lot more teams and even more fun.

This game is amazing but be prepared to play it a lot!
