In my mind, the best championship manager game ever, it revoloutionised the way the game was played, and created a very realistic simulator. Whilst the engine is simply commentary, it still creates a lot of excitment, and you can still see which players are underperforming, (or doing well). The transfer system was refreshingly realistic, and did not include the inflated prices in recent years games. On top of this, the 'right' clubs were winning, for example, clubs like newcastle and west ham were in the middlie, not pushing for champions league places.
