Championship Manager 01/02 is the ultimate Champ Man, far superior to its predecessors, it is known for its incredibly quick set up and running of the game. Whilst having a huge database, scouting options and everyting you would expect from a computer management game, it didn't go as far as the 3d match engine in the next edition which was frankly crap.

I've spent many a day playing Champ Man 01/02 and occasionally get it out still, it's amusing to see the ages of the players in comparison to the ones around today and also players that have long since been retired but it's still got great game play and this is the most important thing for a game.

The game itself is generally considered to be the best ever edition and I for one preferred it before it seperated into Football Manager. Used on a modern computer, it runs so quickly in comparison with some of the more recent ones.
