Advantages: In depth control of your team

Disadvantages: not upto date players and teams (hence 01/02!)

If I could add up all the hours I've spent on this game and deduct from the age I am now, I'd probably be 16 years old, yes that's right! (and I'm 25!) This game is ridiculously addictive and far superior to its predecessors and successors. Before this game there was CM2/3 and 00/01, despite good also, they do not compare to this game. Just the right balance of features, from training to shortlisting to tactics so that it gives you a good sense of control over your team, allowing you to personally feel satisfied when you do eventually manage to win something.

There are also great online forums for tips and tricks and cheats if you're feeling naughty. Best players would include Ronaldinho, Vieri, Aghahowa, Crespo, Veron, Van Nistelrooy, Cannavaro...and so on!

The players and teams are a little outdated now but you can install updates off of various websites or just enjoy it in its original glory. Huge database of teams and players with a variety of potentials, and dont forget the editor in which you can create your own personalised team or even 'tweak' current teams (i.e. Ronaldinho at Millwall? ok!)
