Great game, addictive (Civilisation IV (Mac))

Advantages: Graphics, in game choice, replay value fantasic

Civilisation IV comes highly recommended by someone who was thought it was the most pointless, boring game in the world... My boyfriend had the PS1 Civilisation, which quite frankly was rubbish, and i couldnt understand his obsession at all. I decided to buy him CivIV for the PC so i could get my TV back, and soon got hooked myself.
To begin with you can pick which leader you want to be - there are loads to pick from and each has two main attributes ie financial, spirtual, expansion etc which gives you various bonuses so it helps to know your victory aim before you start - which you can also select at the start - time, space race, domination etc or you can select all which means the people you are playing against can have differant aims... There are so many things to pick at the start of the game, or you can quick start to begin with. I could go on all day :) But I won't...
This game is perfect for anyone who love strategy games, and also those who like role play games such as the sims. It has fantastic replay value as well due the the amount of differant routes you can play.

Summary: Great for sim/role players...give it a try!
