Civilization 2 has to be one of the best games of all time.

The aim of the game is build up your civilization on Earth or a randomly created map. You build your civilization by building cities. These cities can then be used to create units for battle or further building. Within your cities you can build different buildings that help increase money, happiness, food etc.

You must manage many cities within your civilization. Each city must be managed correctly for your civ to be strong. There are other civilizations on the map too that you are competing against. You can win the game by either destroying all of these civilizations or winning the space race. Winning the space race involves you learning new technologies and launching a shuttle into space.

This can be a very difficult game and you will get a different game everytime you play.

The graphics aren't too hot but to be honest, its better like that. With everything that is going on you don't want to be distracted by too much detail. You need to be able to concentrate on your strategy.
