This real time strategy game depicts the last assault of the Germans at the end of the WW2. The Germans believed that they could retake the city of Antwerp cutting off Allied supply lines. Initially greatly out numbering the American forces, 250,000 infantry, 1900 artillery pieces and 1000 armoured vehicles started the German's great, final assault. This battle was known as 'The Battle of the Bulge'. You can take charge of either the American forces or the German forces. The game can be played as either single battles, operations or a full scale campaign. This game simulates the last German offensive of the war, where Hitler ordered his last reserves of armour to attack through the Ardennes. The aim was for the German forces to split the American and British armies apart and drive on Antwerp capturing the vital port and forcing the Allies to sue for peace rather than fighting a long drawn out battle. This game has bags of atmosphere as it is a realtime combat simulation, with excellent graphics and sound, as it's predecessors had. The game is really brought to life when playing against a human opponent though, as there is a great sense of achievment when you win.
