I have decided to expand my repertoire to computer games today. So I decided to write about my favourite rally game (come to think about it, it is the only rally game I have ever played!) It is really an eye-catching and very good game that makes you feel like you are actually in the car, fighting to steer it round the tracks. So, now that I have made my feelings known, here are the facts. There are two modes for players: Rally and Arcade. Rally consists of timed stages and you have to amass the greatest number of points to gain a gold trophy. It is not all about winning a gold trophy realy. It is about getting the most number of points. You get 12 points for ... Read the complete review

The original was great, this sequel is even better! If you’re into rally games, or even just racing games in general, this is a must have to your collection. The game comes in a DVD style case (much better than having a massive box) with a fairly brief but informative manual, or though you probably won’t need it. I bought my copy from Amazon.co.uk, who for some reason, decided to give me TOCA 2 as well!! (for free I might add). It costs £30 but I used a £5 voucher from joining LineOne to get it cheaper. Bargain! /###/ REQUIREMENTS /###/ The game can be installed either in entirety for quicker access (650MB), just a ... Read the complete review

The original Colin McRae Rally was released a couple of years ago now and when it was it set new standards for rally gaming with its superb graphics, gameplay and sounds. Rally gaming hadn`t really took off at this point the only one worth talking about at the time CMR was released was Network Q Rally Championship which had become very outdated as it had been released 2-3 years premature to CMR. The Rally gaming industry is now as competitive as the F1 gaming scence with 3-4 rally games released each year. This year has seen the release of three rally games all with their sights set on knocking the original CMR off the top position in rally gaming and all have succeded, ... Read the complete review

First Impressions: It was way back in December 2000 when I was in India. My father often used to visit London, and on one of his visits brought along an issue of PC Gameplay (a very famous magazine in the UK). As the rules go, the magazine had 2 CDs packed with demos of the latest games. One of these demos was of Colin McRae Rally 2.0, which I quickly installed on the system and waited with bated breath. I have always been a lover of rally and racing games...and at time was hooked to V-Rally 2.0. And boy!!! I was in for a completely different world of gaming when the game started!!! I couldn t wait to buy the full version and got it at that time for £19.99, although ... Read the complete review

Colin McRae Rally II... Touted as the best driving game ever, this is the sequel to the smash hit Codemasters game Colin McRae Rally, which broke just about every record there was when first released. Setting a precedent for visuals, style, playability and a complete new level for driving games, any sequel was going to be a tough task. However, Codemasters have pulled out all the stops for the sequel and brought us a game that improves upon the original in just about every way imaginable! The first thing I would say about this game is that it is a hugely resource hungry game. This is my main criticism of the game, and if you do not own a MONSTER PC, ... Read the complete review
