I fell in love with the strategy games produced by Westwood Studios back in 1998 with Dune 2000. This is the game that got me playing strategy games, and I loved every minute of it. Now, picture the scene 19 years later, when I start playing Command and Conquer 3. The graphics looks flash, as you would expect in this age of 320Mb graphics cards and Direct X 10. There are two single player campaigns available, one as the GDI, who are the equivalent of NATO, and the other as the forces of NOD, who want to spread Tiberium all over the world. As I am by nature a bit of a good guy, I started the GDI campaign. There are some amazing cut ... Read the complete review

First up it has to be said that to play this game at its best you need a really high end P.C now i'm lucky enough to have one Dual core 5200+ Amd Athlon x2 4gb 800mhz ram 2x 7950gt 512mb Graphics in SLI X-fidelity sound card. 40Gb hard drive There was a lot of pre release hype as Ea seem to like to encourage for there games, some justified some not so. but boy does this deliver and has to be the best and most complete EA title in some time. Having played nearly every C&C title since the first tiberium wars release way back in 1999. i have to say this has been long awaited and it has proved to be worth the wait ... I loaded it up and thought its exactly the same as all the others played a quick skirmish and then left it alone. Is it a bad game no, its ok but its more and more of the same, now if you like more of the same you will love the game but if you were expecting something totally different then you will like me be ... Electronic Arts strike again with another offering from the long-standing and historically excellent "Command and Conquer" range. Very well received on release (I think the lowest rating it got was 81%) it has had me wondering just how this happened ever since. Perhaps the games journalists had spent too much time near the tiberium. GAMEPLAY The first fault is almost immediately apparent. Everything about the game is almost exactly the same as the fourteen (and soon to be fifteen) other titles in the series. You harvest resources, and then spend them on predictable unit types - there's the normal trooper, the rocket trooper, the ... Read the complete review

Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium wars, is the latest game in the Tiberium part of the of the Command and Conquer series and is the best of the series so far. The story of the game focuses on the resurrection of the infamous Kane, leader Nod and exactly what Tiberium actually is. Within the game there are three factions, the GDI, Nod and an alien faction the Scrin. The GDI (Global Defence Initiative) are the futuristic United Nations organisation, as they are a pooling of all the military resources of the nations on the planet that are not currently affected by the infestation of Tiberium; these are mainly countries in north of the equator or could be described ...
