Advantages: Good story
Disadvantages: Too short
Where it all began with Command and Conquer the orginal Red Alert game was released in 1995 by Westwood
The graphics are very basic even for the time they were not cutting edge the game instead relied on the game play and the story to sell.
The series is based on an alternate timeline when Albert Einstein travels back in time and removes Adolf Hitler in an attempt to prevent World War II, this backfires and results in the Sovient invasion of Europe, and the game sporns from here.
You play as either the Sovient or Allies in an attempt to control the world. Each side has there own special units with different abilities to make the game varied and giving each side different advantages over each other in different fields of combat.
Two expansion packs where released for this game Counterstrike and Aftermath before Red Alert 2 was released.
Summary: A good game worth picking out of the bargin bin
