Advantages: graphics, controls
Disadvantages: none really
Commandos; BEHIND ENEMY LINES; Commandos is a real-time tactics game set in World War II that puts you in command of a small squad of Elite troopers. Send them behind enemy lines on a series of hazardous missions. Clever strategy has never been so action packed. Study the enemy’s movements and then strike when it is necessary, crush, kill and destroy (whoops got cared away there). The graphics are amazing right down to the last detail and the sound blaster makes it sound as if you are there in the thick of it. With 26 different levels and over 350 buildings this game never gets boring. You can also play over the Internet with over 40 different enemy troops and vehicles. If you like Command and Conquer this is the game for you. The controls are a bit strange to start out with but you get used to the fairly quickly. When I borrowed this game I didn’t have the right equipment to play it so remember read the back of the box (I would give the details to you but since I don’t own the game I can’t). You lead a party of troops into combat like C&C but it is way more tactical and it isn’t as easy as the other combat games. The other games in this series are ok but I think this is the best one so don’t waste your money on them. This game is fairly cheap now because it has been on the market for a while. The magazine PC Gamer gave it 9/10 and that is a great mark for such a great game. Thanx for reading
