Advantages: Stunning graphics.

Disadvantages: Top quality hardware required. the AI is AWFUL

This game has to be one of the most talked about PC games of recent years and it still generates lots of banter across the internet, on hardware forums and the like. So I thought I would add my thoughts on the subject.

One of the first things to realise is that from a hardware point of view this game is optimised for Nvidia GPU's. Put simply this game is going to run that much better on a system using Nvidia graphics cards. I don't know why and I can't say I'm that bothered and here is why.

The game is a disappointment, after all the hype I was expecting a polished FPS with more bells and whistles than a little but no, what do we get? Flashy graphics yes, but the AI is so awful. It is actually laughable. No doubt in my mind the graphics are impressive but the enemy's are so terribly programmed that you can run rings around them easily.

From a hardware point of view this game is very intensive on your available resources. You need a relatively high end system to make sure this game is playable. My Q9650 is at 4GHz with 2 over-clocked 4890 GPU's and I average in the 50FPS area at 1920x1200 resolution.

To be honest, I would give this game a run through but do not expext the best FPS ever because this is not it.

Summary: The best in PC gaming is offset by some of the worsed!
