One slightly annoying thing is that the Vikings are extremely stupid - they'll frequently tell you they're hungry when there's food just inches away. In Cultures you are in charge of a little group of Vikings who land in the New World. You can either play a variety of missions, or go for unlimited play. I found some of the missions to be very difficult, especially those where you were fighting another tribe(s), so I mostly went for unlimited play. You also have the option to continue playing after you finish a mission. You start off with a mixture of men and women, and once you build some houses, you can have children too. The women don't do much, apart from have kids and cook, but the men have a variety of skills - and a tendency to eat and sleep all the time. One of the nice features is that they earn ... Cultures is a resource management game based around Vikings. You control a small group of Vikings and train them to do various jobs like being a huntsman, baker, farmer, etc and you build them places to live and work. The game is cute and the Vikings do not go rampaging about the land, looting and pillaging. It's not that kind of game and they aren't those kind of Vikings. You build your community.
