      Good Game Worth Playing

Although this game is 6 years old it has to be one of my favourite strategy games I have ever played. Unlike many other strategy games there is no base building and no unit production. Instead for each scenario you are given a set of units and it's up to you to maximise their usage.

There is a large range of Units from Snipers, Flamethrowers to many different historical tanks. It is the historical feel that makes this game. The units feel accurate and each have pros and cons. This gives the game a level of strategy that is not present in other games. Each mission offers different challenges to the last, my personal favourite is the beach landing of D Day where you are left with troops scattered far across the beach. This offers a tough challenge and something that is very rare in traditional strategy games. Once you complete a mission you can go back and re play it with more freedom in the units available.

One disappointing aspect of this game is that you only play as the allies which is a shame as it would have been good to play some of the missions from the axis perspective. Although it may be outdated now, if you find this game in a bargain bin somewhere then it is well worth the play through for World War 2 or Strategy fans.
