Dark Reign 2 (PC)

Dark Reign 2, a good game to those who have not played C&C. This game is basically an easier version of C&C. My brother got it for christmas and got tired of it after a couple of weeks, not because it was boring, he played what levels he could complete over and over again so as to almost make it a basic human reaction. Meanwhile I had decided to give this 'really hard' game a go. I found it no more difficult than any other C&C clone. The basic idea is to build as many middle strength units as you possibly can in the shortest expanse of time. That and defend your base like a new born babe. Command and Conquer has spawned so many different games it would have been a great idea for Westwoods finances if they put a patent on the game type when they released Dune 2 and then charged people to make games that beared any kind of resemblance to it. However they didnt do that and the world is all the better because of it. Dark Reign 2 has nothing new about it. The same formula of build, attack and collect resources is there with not a great deal changed.
