Why the makers decided to bring out a sequel to the awful original Destruction Derby I have no idea. What we have here is mainly more collisions and ramming each other, just with better graphics. And that is basically it, this game really won't appeal to most people as all you do is ram other cars. Which is incorporated into games like GTA and Carmageddon as a minor part of the game, but is the main basis of this title. Really the game is just racing and crashing into people, at least the original could be called original... but this one can't. Don't get me wrong some people may well like this title, but to me it was extremely boring after a very ... Read the complete review

On the box you see cars exploding, crashing and it looks fantastic. Well the reality is not. There is no explosions!! If you have played the original then stay clear of the second one. The cars are different and handle like crap, (i had to think about that!). There is no addiction like the original game. I took this game back the day after i bought it. The Graphics have inproved but the cars look small and thin. Its as though the original people that made the game sold it to an idiot who thought he could make it better. When you play the game there just doesnt seem any point to it. I have the original one and still find the desire to play it. It is quite difficult as ... Read the complete review

This game is the bomb! Quite litrally. This game is new and inventive in terms of gameplay the idea is to smash other cars and protect yourown. Sounds fun well it is. you will love this game from start to finish and admire every moment of it. Although it won't be the best game you play unless it is the only game you play but it is certainly worth every penny of it's bugdet wrenching price. Judging by today's standard it is pretty poor in the graphical department, but it is gameplay not graphics. The game is a joy to pay and you will often come back and play it over and over again. If you have a network handy then the fun is multiplied by a great amount and ... Read the complete review
