On the box you see cars exploding, crashing and it looks fantastic. Well the reality is not. There is no explosions!! If you have played the original then stay clear of the second one. The cars are different and handle like crap, (i had to think about that!). There is no addiction like the original game. I took this game back the day after i bought it. The Graphics have inproved but the cars look small and thin. Its as though the original people that made the game sold it to an idiot who thought he could make it better. When you play the game there just doesnt seem any point to it. I have the original one and still find the desire to play it.
It is quite difficult as when you turn the car it turns 90'o and basically not realistic. If you want DD2 dont get it get Destruction Derby 1 or try out Carmageddon, With carmageddon you can crash into cars and have a destruction derby you also can kill zombies etc. a much better game.
If you do decide to buy DD2 try the demo first. This can be downloaded at http://www.psygnosis.co.uk/ (Unavailable for a while!! Search for the demo on Yahoo or something!)
There really isnt much else to say. Sound isnt an issue. You dont need a high-end PC a 133Mhz is fine with a 2Mb+ Graphics card. That was what i had when i had the Game!
The price maybe less than £15 i dont know, thats what i paid 2 years ago!
