This game really is death! The game starts off great but doesn't allow the user to have a great ability to control the bloody car. This makes the game extremely hard. Network play is however a bang and this is what pulls the game up, as you compete with your foes for complete victory. The competition is very high. The track designs are good to some degree but are rather tedious and the levels seem repetitive as they are all the same sort of thing. The game is alright but not worth £30.00. £15 is more like it and don't buy it for aanything more. THe game therefore in my opinion offers much less than your standard type of racing game. Eversince i tried the demo i ... Read the complete review

Set in the future, armchair sports fans have a new favorite sport in Dethkarz. Combat style Races are held across the World and beyond. Simple but effective and a good enough excuse for a fast-paced arcade racer going by the name of Dethkarz. Taking influences from coin-op classics such as Scud Racer, it's clear that any thoughts of 'simulation' weren't high on the priority. At first sight, Dethkarz clearly resembles Ubi Soft's pod and Cryo's Mega Race. I tried the demo of this game before I bought it (my mistake), cars blasting away at your enemy Racing around the track blasting your enemies with in a number of laps and then straight off the edge. (no barriers) You can`t slowdown or you lose I wish I could control the car like the computer. Usual powerups graphics and sound are good let down by some bad gameplay a little more thought and I would have not taken this off my hard drive ... Read the complete review

Ever played the game Wipeout? Set in the future with floating "cars", you took part in a fast race around tracks whilst blasting your opponents with missiles. Dethkarz is much like that but with wheels. You take part in races around a certain number of laps whilst at the same time trying to explode your enemies and avoid getting blown up yourself. Sounds fun, but there are some very large problems with the tracks I played (I played about 4 or 5 tracks before Uninstalling it). The main thing is on some parts of the track there are no barriers, allowing you to fall off into nothingness. So what? This would'nt be so bad if the cars didn't go so fast ...
