Premium Review Die Sims 2 (PC): Life goes on in the Sims 2 (1002 words)

If you have played the Sims and enjoyed it then this game is for you. I loved the first Sims and bought all the expansion packs. When this was released I bought it straight away and have not played the original since. It's seems out dated now. Features ======= Time has moved on the game and for us. Calling all control freaks get your teeth into this. Your Sims get pregnant, they give birth, the baby grows into a toddler, toddler grows to child, child grows to teenager, teenager to adult, adult to elder and finally elder to urn/tombstone. That's right you can watch your Sims grow from start to finish literally. Unlike the original game whether ...  Read the complete review

For the Sims virgins out there (if there are any), this is a game that is a life simulator., in which you have to house, educate and generally take care of your cyber people (Sims). Having patiently awaited the release of the new revolution in the Sims series, I couldn’t wait to get to grips with it on my PC. I’ve been almost as eager to get this review written, but it’s been some time coming as the game needs testing out first. Game on - Ok, so day one was probably the most revealing day of game play. Leaving me with four initial thoughts… A/ Different variation of the same thing (well it would be somewhat the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Die Sims 2 (PC): UK version, not german, don't panic! (806 words)

~Introduction~ This is my first review on a game, and I've only being playing this one since Xmas , so please cut me some slack. The Sims is the most popular video game of all time, and like all great things their makers lauch a sequel(remember Star Wars, SimCity, Theme Park [World/Inc] and Rollercoaster Tycoon), hence The Sims 2. While writing thisreview I take it you've played The Sims (1). ~The Great Advantage[s]~ In it's build up to release, EA were publisicing how your sims grew up, they do grow up however the way they do it is unrealistic, like many of TS1 features. Multicoloured rings surround them, and they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I've lost weight as I can't tear myself away from the pc. (505 words)

I have to say that I may be a little biased in my opinion of this game as I am a self confessed Sims fan. I owned all of the original games and expansion packs for the Sims so when they announced that there was to be a SIMS 2 I could not wait and I would like to add that I was not disappointed. Sims 2 takes the game just that bit further than the original but for those of you who are new to it all together, I shall explain. Sims is a game whereby you can control the lifes of simulated characters. Help them get jobs, grow, have relationships, move house etc etc. In the first series there were all sorts of different things to do with your sims and the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Die Sims 2 (PC): The Sims 2 Review (153 words)

It's finally here and it was worth the wait. The all new sims 2 is a brilliant simulation game which enables you to control people and guide them life many real life situations e.g. bringing up yourchildren, teaching them to walk and talk, help them to be at the highest in their job or at school, help your romatic tennagers experience their first kiss and helping to cope with the worse things in life e.g. death of family members. I think that the best new feature is the new extended options within realtionships e.g you ask someone if they want to move in, sleepover/stay the night, get engaged, marriage and try for a baby. The game is a suitable buy ...  Read the complete review
