Advantages: Unreal Plot
Disadvantages: Shoddy graphics and the price
When I first saw the preview for Dino Crisis on the playstation I was sincerely hoping it would be released for the PC. When it was released I bought it straight away. In all honestly the game is great you play a girl called Regina, who is part of a special operation team that is sent to investigate the mysterious reappearance of Dr K, he was presumed dead when his island lab blew up. Once you arrive on the island things are not quite what they seem, dinosaurs are roaming everywhere you have to battle your way through the dinosaurs to find Dr K, then get out of this god for saken place. The game has lots of puzzles to solve as well as shooting things; on top of that a dinosaur could be hiding anywhere. It doesn’t half make you jump when a dinosaur pops from nowhere. The major problem with the game is the graphics, they look like something out of the Stone Age, and the screen resolution is fixed at 640x480. This game is still my firm favourite the games plot is unreal, and it does enough to keep you interested. I paid top whack when the game was released, personally I think the price should be lowered in light of the shoddy graphics, I've seen better on budget games.
