Advantages: Games good for young Toy Story fans, graphics are good

Disadvantages: More advanced games with better features out now

I remember playing this game when I was quite young and Toy Story 2 had just come out. I loved the films, so my mum had just purchased me the game to keep me occupied when she was trying to work. Years later, we still have the game and my sister has also played it from time to time and liked it. It was around £6 for the game when it first came out, however now as it is quite old, you can purchase it for around £2. The age rating for this is 3 plus I believe, as you need a little bit of skill to be able to play some of the games.

It does not follow a storyline, as there are just various minigames for you to choose from and play. There is around 5/6 of them, and they are different types such as arcade, strategy and creative styles. There is something to suit everyone within these minigames, and stays true to its rating, as as long as you can use a keyboard and understand instructions they are pretty easy to get the hang of.

Below is a list of some of the minigames and activities included within the game:
- You must guide the gang, who are camouflaged as traffic cones (similar to the movie!) across a busy street to help save Woody. Usually this means timing the way in which you move to avoid cars and gum.
-There is also a game where you must control Woody across the baggage at the airport to lead him to safety. You must make sure where you step, as if you don't it will make you start all over again!
-You can round up critters before Bullseye beats you to doing it. An added bonus of this is that you can play alone or with a friend, and I have played against my sister when she was playing it and it was quite fun, although easy if you play games a lot.
-You can create your own comic book complete with Toy Story characters and sound effects. This adds a great bit of creativity to the games and you get to play it through at the end.
-You also have the ability to print off your favourite characters and colour them in for some off the computer fun! (although they could save a bit more paper by not having so little on them when you need to print them!)

The graphics were quite advanced for the time that it was made in and they are quite clear and detailed. There are never any gliches or issues within this game, which was really great. While there are quite few games, they are also quite challenging for the target audience, and as I recall when I played it, I never thought there wasn't enough as I was always trying to win and get more points than before.

I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a cheap computer game to give to a young Toy Story Fan. There are games about Toy Story that are probably out and more modern though with more features, so I'd suggest looking around for those first.

Summary: A good game for its time, but more modern games are available with more features
