Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil is an expansion pack for Doom 3, is this game doomed for failure? or resurrected for success?

Doom 3 ressurection is brought to you by the collaboration between id software and Nerve Software. This expansion pack includes a greater variety of weapons and enemies, so if you enjoyed Doom 3, you must buy it!

*Story*

The game picks up 2 years after Doom 3, Your character is part of the scientific investigation team. You start of going on an exploratory mission which then leads to complete destruction of everything when you find a starnge artifcat that releases "evil". With the help of you friend Elizabeth, you both attempt to destroy this evil and restore peace. Not quite original huh?

*Gameplay*

For those that have played Doom 3 before, this game is not really that different to Doom 3. Its still the same "dark", "gory" ganme and involves you entering an area, killing all the enemies and moving on, there will be an objective each time for you to complete and when completed, you'll be able to move on to the next part of the game. Overall, its quite straightforward. So for those action lovers, its a great pick.

*Additions*

You get new weapons and new types of enemies in this game. Theres also a different storyline to Doom 3 but the storylines not that great as it does not really develop.

*Graphics*

The graphics are stunning, the characters and surroundings are amazing. But hey, you wouldnt just buy a game for its graphics right?

There are new weapons and more abilities than doom 3.
