terrifyingly doomy (Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (PC))

Disadvantages: a bit too terrifying

doom 3 is the 3rd outing of the doom game series and this is also one of the scariest and most frightening games that i have ever played. the reason that i got this is game was that a couple of friends of mine where saying how good the graphics where, and i did not believe them so i went and purchased the game. i guess they where correct. the game had very good graphics at the time of release and they are still ok compared to games today. the only thing about this game was that i found it terrifying and that i could only manage about maybe half an hour or so at a time then i had to leave it for a while due to me nearly having a heart attack every time a monster jumped out at me. the game has a strange story line where the ghouls of hell are released and you must kill them all to survive basically, as your friends are turned into zombie like creatures around you. there is a variety of weapons availble through out the game play and i think the stoeyline is convincible in places. although i never finished the game due to lack of interest (due to it being a bit to frightening) after a week or so of play so i never found out how the game ended.

Summary: scary
