      A great Dora PC game for youngsters

      Dora The Explorer: World Adventure PC Game

      My little one has recently got into games on the PC, which should not have been a surprise really as I enjoy certain games on the PC. We bought her a few PC games to start her off, and one of these included the Nick Junior character of Dora the Explorer who teaches children Spanish whilst going on little adventures full of puzzles with her friends.

      This PC game is played in a story mode with three different levels; easy, medium and hard. These levels are not overly different, and from what I have seen, play the exact same story and puzzles though the puzzles are slightly harder and slightly longer to complete. Each level has a page in Dora's book, full of stickers and postcards which the child earns by completing various stages of each level in the game.

      The story of the game follows Dora and her friends as they try to save Friendship day and make it to the Friendship Parade in good time whilst trying to find all the friendship bracelets that Swiper stole all over the world (Well four different countries anyway!). The countries which Dora travels through are; France, Tanzania, Russia, and China, each with certain aspects to teach the child what that country is like such as the clothes you dress Dora in.

      There are not a huge amount of puzzles to get through to complete the game, though this game is for three years plus and I think that this level of puzzles is a perfect amount for youngsters such as three year olds.

      Through the puzzles the child is taught the following;

      * World Geography, Countries and Cultures
      * Different Languages (Mainly Spanish though languages from the specified countries too)
      * Matching, Sorting, & Patterns
      * Colours and Shapes
      * Problem Solving

      My youngster loves playing this game and has picked up the puzzles extremely quickly whilst still allowing room to challenge her mind. Since we bought this game, my youngster has played it non-stop and still enjoys it.

      We picked this game up for only 3.00 including P&P on Ebay though it can be picked up for any price between this and 8.00 though I think 8.00 is a little steep!

      Fully Recommended!
