When I saw Drakan - Order of the Flame advertized at Electronics Boutique for the amazing price of £7.99, I ordered it there & then. The game is very much "Tomb Raider" orientated in style and looks but it goes further, especially if your into "Sword & Sorcery" type games.

The controls can be quite awkward unless you are a hardened gamer and can use a keyboard and a mouse at the same time - this gets easier with use. The game plays well in single player mode, runs smoothly and has good looking graphics which are both fast and effective. On the down-side, I tried it in multi-player mode several times and it crashed my system every time. I have even tried installing the latest patches (444 & 445) but they don't seem to make much difference to the multi-player mode. On top of this, with the patches installed, your original saved games will crash the game too - you have to start from the beginning again.

If you just want another Tomb Raider type game in third person perspective, this could be the game for you. For the price, it's well worth a look anyway.
