Praetorians (PC) ... those of you who have an interest in the ancient world; the first concept for a Praetorian gaurd started with the tent of the commanding general (praetor) of a roman army who selectively picked those of notable value who could best protect him. Over the years this cohort became the cohors praetoria, many great commanders owned one such as Mark Antony, Julius Caesar and the most greatest of all in my opinion... Augustus (Octavian). Indeed, it was Octavian who first realised that such an army would be useful in politics as well on the fields of Mars (battlefield). Imperial Glory (PC) ... game to say the most is mildly interesting. This is an Napoleonic era turn based RTS which will provide very interesting features in some parts but will also lack badly in others. The game play is quite simple and easy to learn but is no comparison to the total war series. The music and in game environment is quite satisfying so no problem there. The actual campaign even on hard seemed to easy and managed to get boring after a while. There are not many factions to play as and there are no differences except in name and that the UK cant have militia. The naval battles and the battle maps are the best feature for me although there were not many compared to other RTS s.... Read the full review: Reasonable by Gillper |
