The Shivering Isles, (S.I.), is an expansion pack for the game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. For more information on The Elder Scrolls series or Oblivion check out http://www.elderscrolls.com/home/home.ph, wikipedia, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elder_Scrolls), or try some of the reviews already on here. You can get S.I. for the PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360; my review is about the Xbox 360 version as I think there may a few differences between the versions. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is one of the biggest RPGs of all time. There is so much to do that many players find it overwhelming and doing a majority of the game can take any one player months. Shivering Isles makes Oblivion even larger! Oblivion is a game that is completely open-ended, you can play in order to protect the world, become the head of the Guilds, steal as much as possible, or become incredibly rich. The story of this game follows a mad King called Sheogorath who is convinced that his land of mania and dementia is going to be destroyed, your goal is to help him save it. There are many new quests for you to do and lots of fun new items to find and of course lots of interesting new characters to interact with. This game will add at least another ... The Elder Scrolls Shivering Isles is a Great Expansion of oblivion although only really needed if you have done everything in oblivion which takes some work, but if that's the case then its definitely a great pack even if you haven't done everything. The pack adds new items and alchemy materials and opens up a massive world along with new enemies and bosses which you will find very fast compared to the second pack the knights of nine its a massive difference from adding a quest to adding a new world, In a way the shivering isle could in itself be pretty much a second oblivion although not as big as oblivion its certainly more imaginative as you will notice, in ...
