	Dead Space (PC) ... Space is a downright moody game that manages to get under the skin like only a select number of games - such as Silent Hill - are able to. This is a uniformly creepy game that is enhanced considerably by its spectacular graphics and general sense of atmosphere. The plot borrows a lot from claustrophobic science fiction films like Event Horizon, in that you are a normal space engineer named Isaac Clarke who is investigation a distress call from a spaceship. However, his ship crashes, and he awakens on the abandoned ship they were meant to be fixing. 	The Sims 3 (PC) ... a veteran of the Sims (I started back in the good old day of the age defiant Sims 1) I was desperate to get my hands on The Sims 3 the moment it came out. I was very concerned about a number of negative reviews I d seen on the official site but nothing short of WW3 would have stopped my buying my own copy. Thankfully I was NOT disappointed! The Sims 3 is an excellent addition to the sims family. Everyone s pet hate, the dreaded loading screen is gone and you re sims can now wander around as they please. What s more as your sims grow up so does everyone else! No more having an elder living next door to his teenaged great, great grand uncle lol. On the downside this game... 	The Sims 2: Nightlife Add-On (PC) ... am a fan of the original The Sims, but not so much the crude and crass way in which they have drip-fed content to players through a series of expansions that cost £20 a pop! While sometimes they do add some much-needed content (which probably was ready for the first game!), sometimes it just isn t enough, and Nightlife, released as an expansion for The Sims 2, is one such example. Nightlife is to The Sims 2 as "Hot Date" was to the original; it is about what your Sim does to unwind when work is over, such as having a night on the town or similar such activities.
