Newest Review: ... soccer game of the millenium in Europe. Teams fight hard to get to the Euro 2000. France and Italy make it all the way. ... more

... Hoping to win the cup of Europe. The french win it. Italy beat Holland(The Netherlands) in the semi-finals in a penalty shootout. Electronic Arts(EA Sports) bring out a game that is really good. You don't have think that. (I think it's a great game though). It has all the teams in Europe and some asian teams. China and Japan are not one of them. Europe loves soccer. But only one team could win the Euro 2000! ...more

EURO 2000 kicks in with yet another impressively concocted intro sequence featuring a motion captured euro-techno-super-DJ, Paul Oakenfold, replacing FIFA 2000's previous (thoroughly annoying) Robbie Williams appearance. Euro 2000 has brilliant graphics and the gameplay is also brilliant - it is possible to get bored as you can only do friendlies or European Championships but overall its great. The passing can be unrealistic but it all ...

The graphics and replays are, in my opinion, second-to-none for realism. However, the gameplay does not really reflect the ingenuity of the graphics. Other football games capture the tension and skill factor of "the beautiful game" more thoroughly, whereas Euro 2000 attempts to capture the spirit of football via glossy graphics, cutscenes and replays. If you're a big fan of the previous EA games and all your mates are waiting for a Euro 2000 flavoured makeover, you may well be satisfied with ...
