“ Addiction is the only word for it. The season starts in 1999 and moves on to 2000. There is so much detail within this game that users can get in as deep as they like. They may find themselves in the early hours trying to work out optimum fuel levels for the race or sweating out a slow tyre change. In the lightning fast world of Formula One, it takes a combination of instant strategic decisions and long term planning to beat the best. From signing the right engine supplier to a split second change in your pit-stop strategy, every call you make means the difference between podium glory and bankrupt disgrace. Now with the Officially licensed by Formula One Administration Limited F1 Manager from EA Sports, you can take on the likes of Ron Dennis, Jackie Stewart, Eddie Jordan, Jean Todt, Alan Prost and bring your Formula One team to the very pinnacle of motor sport by winning the FIA Formula One World championship. „
F1 Manager was released in 2000 and is supported on Windows 95 and 98. It's a complex game with many aspects - for example you can modify your car right down to the electronics and brand of brake pads! It's certainly addictive, as well as managing your team you can watch the races with graphics which were high quality at the time. However this is its weakness, it has been superseded by games such as 'formula one 2002.' If you can get it cheap (definitely under £10) and are a F1 fan then this is the game for you!
