Ok ok, so you all know how great this game is right? Well there's nothing wrong with singing a little more praise about it. But I'll try to keep it short. Quite simply, there was a war. A big one. With lots of nukes. Low and behold, radiation poisoning is a plenty. Upper class society now live in what are called vaults, which are basically hollowed out mountains with a giant safe inside. Big enough to support a decent population, so long as there is a working water chip installed in it's water supply, to keep the water clean and safe to drink. Wait a second? What's that? The chip? Oh no! Without that chip we'll all die in a matter of ... Read the complete review

Several years ago after many fairly good computer role-playing games (CRPGs) such as Azure Bonds, there was a period where we were inundated with average CRPGs. This was sad for ardent game players like myself. However, with time several major companies realized the potential market and a few good games were released. Learning from earlier games, the makers improved the graphics, sound and overall game play to bring CRPGs into the mainstream. Fallout was Interplay’s attempt to enter this market. [Update: I just want to apologise if i mislead anyone with this review. When i wrote this review originally, i copied the text in case the page failed to send the review. It did fail and so i had to paste the text back in. When i did this i forgot to change the options below. I have now changed these so that they are correct. ] I absolutley love this game. Its one of the best RPG's out i feel and it is so addictive. The idea of this game is that its meant to be unique each time you play it. Its a bit like those books where you choose the outcome. You decide when you want to complete the game, by selecting which missions you do when. ... Read the complete review

Fallout is another computer game set in a post-holocaust era in which humans struggle for survival in a mad-max style world. In this one, you must collect a water chip(?) and bring it back to your bunker(the place where humans hid before the bombs dropped) to replace the broken one you already have. However this is not as straightforward as it sounds not least because the above ground is populated by bands of suspicious and violent gangs who either outright try to nobble you or enlist your aid against the other gangs. Hence you play through loads of subplots before getting anywhere near your goal. The graphic plays in much the same way as the old style fantasy ... Read the complete review

In this 2D RGP you pick from three people or you can make your own player. You have to adventure in a world which has been hit by a nuclear war. You live in a vault and you have to find a water chip for you vault otherwise your vault and its inhabitants will die. When you aren't fighting you can move around freely through the place were you are. There are lots of places to visit and they are inhabited by lots of different people. There is a large world map to explore and lots of mini quest to keep you happy. Some of the mini quest have you killing baddies, delivering things, finding things and just generally adventuring throughout the game huge world! ... Read the complete review
