Sims: Complete Collection (PC) ... love the Sims. I first got the original game for about £5 the other year. It was basic but even so it was really fun. Then on ebay a couple of months later I saw the complete collection for only £20. I thought this was a totally bargain as it included 4 discs and 8 games in total (including the original)! ABOUT THE SIMS- The Sims is a computer game where the player creates virtual characters and run or ruin there lives. You can show off your creativity by building a house and furnishing it to your taste. The game was first brought out in 2000. It based on experiences of its creator Will Wright. Rayman 2 (PC) ... played this a long time ago and it was annoying. The concept is fine as were the sound and graphics at the time. The flaw is the camera, it doesn t move with your character in the way you may expect it to. Whereas with most games the camera is positioned behind your character or through the eyes of the character as standard with the mouse permitting you to view different angles, this is not. The camera is free movement, it is not hooked on to the back of the character or the characters own view which is ridiculous. Rayman can fly, jump etc. and a lot of the levels require you to jump from and to different platforms to avoid hazards. There s nothing quite as ridiculous... Delicious Winter Edition (PC) ... Winter Edition is the festive version of a game called, (you guessed it), Delicious. I downloaded this game from Gamehouse I think, (www.gamehouse.com), I can t remember what it cost but I think a CD with it on costs £7.95 at the moment. In delicious you play a woman called Emily from one café to the next serving festive delights to your customers. This game would be suitable for kids from about 8 or as soon as they can comprehend the controls which are really very simple, just point and click.
