I have played every FIFA and pro evolution soccer since 2002. I have always preferred pro evolution soccer until this year. Not because fifa has gone better, but because pro evolution soccer has gone worse. Fifa 07- fifa 10 have been pretty much the same game. Minor gameplay modifications and become a legend is new. But the reason I play FIFA is the manager mode. I love it. So many different leagues and different cups to play for. Ofcourse the manager mode has some mistakes. I mostly play premier league, and it is very weird that Everton win the league and Liverpool and Manchester United are in the bottom half of the table. Also, there is very little transfer activity from other teams. And I play with the hardest possible level, pretty much every freekick from 30 meters out goes in. So the game has a lot of room for improvement, but at the moment, it is the best football game.
I got this game for PC and for the Xbox 360. I am very disappointed yet again with the useless attempt from EA for the PC version of FIFA 10. The Xbox 360 version is undeniably fantastic, with great gameplay and stunning graphics. Though, this years' and the previous 09 version were shocking for the PC. The game play and graphics are no where as good as they should be. They should be better than the Xbox 360 and PS3 version because of PC's graphical potential. I have a top of the range nVidia graphics card and a 3 Ghz processor, and EA should be putting in as much work and effort in to the PC versions as they do for the console versions. Moving on, the gaming modes are relatively the same. Good online gaming with easy interface- quick ranked, un ranked, interactive league etc. The Manager and Tournaments are relatively the same as well. Though, I must say, disregarding the graphics, the Be a Pro mode is excellent. Its as you are a real footballer in the real world! So for that feature alone, this game gets 3 stars from me.
