Advantages: Great graphics

Disadvantages: Too easy + too similar to previous versions

The new football season arrived, and so EA Sports decided to release another version of their popular football game , FIFA. On its own this game has some great features, with the best graphics I have seen for any game, and you can play leagues, cups or make your own custom built tournaments. There is a training facility, where you can practice penalties, free kicks and many other things. As well as playing the game from many different camera angles, you can select your teams tactics including the offside trap. And on top of all of that if you get too good you can change the speed of the game, the difficulty of the game ...
... well that's what I thought anyway. Changing the options does not seem to affect the game at all, and that is what I don't like about many sports games - you can get so good that there is no challenge. This is unlike games like Championship Manager where there will always be a challenge from taking Man Utd to European glory, to guiding Telford to the FA Cup Third Round.
The other problem with FIFA 2000 is that it is too similar to previous versions of the game, with just a few minor changes. Don't buy this game if you have another recent version of FIFA and if you do buy it expect to be bored quickly as you get too good.
