This marked the beginning of Fifa as any footballing fan with a video console know. The game is set on the France World Cup, which means that it features all of the teams who were involved in any form of qualifying for that event. It also features all the players' names from those teams and the national stadium for each of these teams. For such an old game the amount of stuff they managed to pack onto this disc and were prepared to put the time into making is astonishing.

This game features all the usual things associated with a football game, and specifically this includes a create a player. Though this is hampered by the graphics of the time it is still a nice feature. The game play is not nearly as slick as newer games and if this is what you're after don't buy this game but if you want a laugh and a bit of nostalgia then there is not a lot that can compete with this.

The fun as mentioned by another reviewer is drawn from the ability to severely foul and moreover the option to play indoors which is a hoot. If you read off some of the names on the England team, the nostalgia comment explains itself: Sherringham, Wright, Shearer, Gascoigne..

Summary: If it will play on your computer, then go get it
