There are different areas that light up when Nemo hovers over them, and you can click on these to go into the games. Games include things like moving a turtle up and down to avoid hitting fish obstacles as the screen scrolls forward, and using a big, bright arrow cursor to select various bits of underwater scenery to hear a variety of sounds. You can even record your compositions and play them back. ...more

Premium Review Finding Nemo (PC): Fishy PC Skills (490 words)
by - written on 05/06/09 (Very useful, 11 readings)
Rating:

The Finding Nemo game for the PC is available in a few formats, to suit different PCs. We've had one suitable for Windows 98, which is the grandson's PC, and one suitable for use with Vista, and both versions are the same. So as long as my review fits with the description of the game you're looking to buy, don't worry if it's got a different cover! Prices seem to range from around £2 for 98/XP copies to £10 for the vista version. You can also get this for the PS2 and other consoles but this review is about the PC game, the PS2 game is actually quite different because of the complicated controls. Basically, little ones as young as three years ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A Poor Movie Tie-In Game (1009 words)

Finding Nemo: Nemo’s Underwater World of Fun is a typical example of a movie tie-in game gone wrong. (To be fair you can go back and play any of the seven different games again, and the difficulty level will go much higher than needed for to complete the basic game, but why would you?) The best thing about the movie was that although kids loved it, it was just as ...  Read the complete review

This is another one of those games based on a movie. Nemo is a familiar character that children seem to know quite well even if they haven't seen the film. Your children will help Nemo become a Super Swimmer in this very entertaining series of games that all take part under water. There are 7 levels which involve surfing the current with Crush and making your own music with the Tank Gang. You'll get to feed Bruce the shark, and you can play the game as one of the films main characters, Nemo, Marlin or Dory. It features mini-games based on the events in the film and more. This is more than a game and entertains, challenges, and ...  Read the complete review
