Are you a student or just wanting a bit of fun, then this is great too...FSX has an inbuilt flight school to help you, it's not all about text book, you can go up with an instructor on this and complete missions...or just fly around the world on your own or even with real people over multiplayer.
FSX comes complete with passenger jets such as the A321 or 737 to Light Aircraft so you can attempt a landing on a snowy mountain to pick up campers.
There are so many quality free add-ons that can enhance your experience even more, with scenery addons such as london vfr, detailed extremely well that you could probably believe you are in london for real.
Program your own weather if you prefer to do a zero Visibilty landing.

An Airline Pilot once said to me, FSX is only slightly harder than flying for real in respect to the fact that you cannot feel the aircraft's movement in FSX which shows how realistic FSX can be.
Complete with Realistic Weather Downloaded by Jeppessen from nearly every airport in the world, which updates every 15 minutes.
There are so many possibilties with this product that I would be here for years as there are new addons that you can get (alot for free)
