A good platform for young and old to practise on before going onto the 2011 edition

Farming simulator 2009 has taken what every boy to man aspires, that they want to drive one of those big machines they see in the field, whether you are young or old it appeals to all.

Not only does the game include several Missions/Tasks you can also play career mode as per a normal everyday farmer.

Missions consist of all the learning criteria to play in career mode so you will learn how to plough, cultivate, seed, spray, harvest and even bale. Once you are proficient in a task you can also earn gold silver or bronze in the categories concerned

Although the game is very much Fendt orientated you can download various mods for this game so if you like your John Deeres, McCormick and many more then you can download most of these.

You can work in all weathers, rain, snow, sunshine.

When you understand how all the machines work you could even start designing your own mods so design that pink tractor your wife always wanted or the farm you always dreamed of.

The game does require graphics of shader 2.0 or greater and a min of 128MB vRAM but i would suggest playing on a 528MB graphics if possible, min 1GB RAM and Pentium4 processor

Only downfall is crops do not die so you cant 100% get the real farmer scenario
