Advantages: New features, updated user interface

Disadvantages: Not a new game really just a reworking of a classic with updated players

As the title of the game suggests this is the 2008 version of the ever popular Football Manager series.

More of a tweaking than a reworking, this version fixes many of the little annoyences from previous versions and also introduces many new features for you to play at being a top level manager!

The transfer system has been tweaked to introduce the possibilty of approaching the board to ask for more money for transfers and wages if you realise during negotiations that you do not have enough money in the kitty to complete a deal!

The overall look and feel of the game has been given a makeover to make it more user friendly and open to new players to the series. There is also a tutorial option if you are new to introduce you easily to the wonderful world of Football Manager!

All in all still an essential buy after all these years!
